The Lord has placed a burden on our hearts, a burden for His glory.
We believe medical missions has the opportunity to reach the most destitute and unreachable areas of the world.
This is why we come together.
Please Pray for this week
As I to travel to Louisville, Kentucky today, I ask that you be in prayer for safe traveling mercies, that the Lord prepares my heart for how He moves during this conference, and that my ears be opened to hear His voice.
This conference, for me, is a place where I feel I belong and I'm refreshed in my calling. A place where I am surrounded by other medical missionaries with the same calling, to use medicine to bring the hope of Christ through His sacrifice to His precious children. This is a place where I learn the latest updates on Zika, tuberculosis, malaria, etc; a place where I am equipped to serve the people God has called me to; a place to learn how to reach the Muslim community through medicine; a place to network and build relationships with other missionaries serving around the world (my roommate is a physician assistant serving in Zimbabwe).
No, this is not another conference. This is an opportunity to join this unique community God has given me to glorify God and be encouraged by how He is MOVING in the nations, DESPITE the enemy's evil attacks!
My heart is bursting with anticipation to see how the Lord is going to move at GMHC this week. I ask that you pray for me and my missionary friends as we gather to learn, be equipped, and encouraged to go out into the nations to continue to reach the lost for Christ!
